Software Management is a division of Student Technology Support that acts as a vendor, selling exclusively to ISU departments and billing them through the campus DataTEL system. Software Management assists departments with software purchases and maintaining licensing information. Software Management is also a resource for questions regarding software copyright and licensing.
Site licensing and volume purchasing agreements for university software are negotiated by this office. The most popular software from Microsoft and Adobe is in stock at all times, and departments may buy and install them with no delay. No shrink wrapped boxed products, however, are kept in stock. Departments wishing to make such purchases should expect typical availability to be three or four business days.
Software Management should be the first place that ISU departments go for software purchases and licensing questions.
All orders can be made via the Software Management website http://www.softwaremanagement.ilstu.edu. Once at the Software Management website, click Pricing & Purchasing. To restrict this web site to ISU-affiliated inquiries and ordering, you will be required to enter your ULID and password to access it. All license and boxed product orders may be picked up at the Software Management office located at 205 Bone Student Center. Purchasers will be notified as soon as their orders are available.
